The H. Hovnanian Family Foundation has committed $500,000 to Homes For All over five years, supporting critical Ocean County home repairs for low-income residents. This initiative is part of Project Home Repair, a collaborative effort to address the urgent need for housing repairs among the county's low-income, senior, veteran, and vulnerable populations.

Project Home Repair brings together several nonprofit organizations, including Homes For All, Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, Southern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, and Starve Poverty. This coalition approach allows for a more effective and comprehensive response to the community's housing repair needs. The project emphasizes pooling resources and expertise to achieve more significant impact and efficiency.

The Foundation's grant of $100,000 annually is specifically directed towards making necessary home repairs, enhancing the safety and comfort of residents. This focus aligns with the Foundation's history of supporting community improvement projects, particularly those benefiting seniors and specific communities like Holiday City, which was built by the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation’s founder, Hirair Hovnanian.

Glen McDonald, Executive Director of Homes For All, acknowledged the Foundation's contribution, stating it significantly boosts the organization's capacity to serve the community. "We are committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations in our community," McDonald said. "The launch of this coalition and the generous support from the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation greatly enhances our efforts to provide critical home repairs and positively impact the lives of those in need within Ocean County."

Since its founding in 1986, the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation has donated over $97 million to various charitable initiatives, focusing on Armenian communities worldwide and local organizations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, New Jersey. This latest grant to Homes For All continues the Foundation's tradition of impactful philanthropy, addressing the critical issue of affordable and safe housing.
