Our Impact

The H. Hovnanian Family Foundation United States grant program has supported a wide range of organizations with the main focus on impacting those organizations that serve individuals in Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey. The United States grant program has focused on support of non-profit organizations with missions that support Community and Rural Development, Healthcare, Education and Arts & Culture. The following numbers reflect the HF USA since 2019:

In Community and Rural Development category, our grants have helped children attend a summer camp where they learn to care for animals, supported a Fire Department/First Responders in acquiring much needed equipment to serve the community, funding for after school programs for youth, and helped with funding for the purchase, install and maintenance of an Aquaponics Garden for participants to use to develop new skills.

These organizations include Monmouth County SPCA, Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, Whiting Volunteer Fire Company #1, Police Unity Tour Chapter 10/Manchester Township Police Department and the Arc Ocean County Chapter.

Healthcare organizations which have received funding used our grand funds for: helping individuals with costs of medical equipment to better their everyday lives with Joan Dancy & pALS, the renovation of two emergency hospital facilities, and supporting the day program to help participants of the Shore Clubhouse. These organizations include Joan Dancy & pALS, Community Medical Center, Shore Clubhouse, RWJ Barnabas and Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation.

The grants awarded in the area of Arts and Education have helped support scholarships and expansions of Health and Science programs at the community college, and endowment funds and renovations of several schools. These organizations include the Ocean County Community College, Villanova University, Hovnanian School, and Ocean County Vocational Technical School.
